Our commercial experience is diverse to say the least.

We’ve helped create everything from factories to laboratories, car washes, fast food outlets, an equine hospital and even the FIFA Media Complex for the Women’s World Cup Soccer.

Perhaps one of our most challenging commercial projects was the construction of the Strathfield Golf Club. With it’s architecturally designed curved shapes, along with a tight timeframe, we pushed the engineering and manufacturing possibilities of prefabricated light gauge steel to deliver.

Austruss assisted FKG to deliver a technically challenging building in a regional area, using DfMA solutions and a circular building approach. One of the major considerations was that the building needed to be easily removed from leased site at the end of lease. In addition, there was a requirement for laboratory conditions which meant the building had to be air tight with low vibration tolerance.
